    Director of Alternative Futures

    Dr. Yolande M. S. Tomlinson is a radical queer Black feminist philosopher and organizer, who brings a lifetime of experience, passion and learning to her role as the Co-Director and Director of Education and Applied Intersectionality for the Organization for Human Rights and Democracy (OHRD).

    Co-Director/Director of Environmental Justice & Planning

    Angel O. Torres has spent the last 5 years as an independent Environmental Justice and Civil Rights researcher, Geographical Information System (GIS) consultant, and free-lance writer in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Jovan Julien, PhD

    Director of Operations, Administration, & Finance

    Jovan is a child of Ayiti and Granmè Meliana, from whom they learned that it is always worth fighting for the “vwa la libète kap chante lan kè nou.” As a Health Policy Research Scholar and Ph.D student in Operations Research at Georgia Tech, their research focuses on how to make decisions under uncertainty.

    Nia is a southern-ish queer Black nonbinary witch*-child of the Edwards and Austin clans. Grand-witch-child of the Cole and Greene clans. And great-grand-witch-child of many more.

    Climate Justice and Human Rights Fellow

    Savanha is a radical Black ecologist, whose work sits at the intersection of environmental justice and prison abolition.

    Ecosystem Manager

    Sanae L. Alaoui is a creative and organizer committed to building alternative futures through solidarity economics and community power.

    Soteria Thomas is a dedicated, lifelong activist native to Atlanta, Georgia, and works in outreach for OHRD.

Wayne G. Early Loan Officer Regenerate Atlanta

At OHRD, Wayne is conducting consulting and training seminars to create worker-owned and managed businesses. We have assisted the start-up and expansion of several cooperative businesses. Wayne received a certification in cooperative development from Cooperation Works in Madison, WI.
