Dr. Yolande M. S. Tomlinson is a radical queer Black feminist philosopher and organizer, who brings a lifetime of experience, passion and learning to her role as the Co-Director and Director of Education and Applied Intersectionality for the Organization for Human Rights and Democracy (OHRD).

Jovan is a child of Ayiti and Granmè Meliana, from whom they learned that it is always worth fighting for the “vwa la libète kap chante lan kè nou.” As a Professor of Operations Research and Public Policy at Georgia Tech, their research focuses on how collectives make optimal decisions under uncertainty.

At OHRD, Wayne is conducting consulting and training seminars to create worker-owned and managed businesses. We have assisted the start-up and expansion of several cooperative businesses. Wayne received a certification in cooperative development from Cooperation Works in Madison, WI.
