MAMA Fund: Metro Atlanta Mutual Aid Fund

The Metro Atlanta Mutual Aid Fund (MAMA) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to providing direct financial assistance to Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) in Metro Atlanta.

Prioritizing the most vulnerable- women, femmes, non-binary individuals, the working class, undocumented people, and those with disabilities- MAMA operates on principles of mutual aid, wealth redistribution, and collective care.

Rather than charity, MAMA embodies a community-driven response to systemic inequities, ensuring resources reach those most impacted by economic and social injustice. While addressing immediate needs, the fund also works toward building sustainable alternatives for long-term self-determination and economic justice.
